Over one hundred and thirty Sudanese refugees have been repatriated to Juba from Kiryandongo Refugee Camp in Uganda, where they lived for the past eighteen years. The returnees were transported by land from Uganda by the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR).
The manager of the port of entry at Jebel Kujur in Juba, where the returnees have been received, Mr. Malish Patrick, said the returnees are being provided with necessities for the next three months, including food items, bed covers, tents and first aid. Most of the returnees originate from Eastern Equatoria State.
