The Darfur factions' meeting in Juba continues to take place behind closed door sessions, with faction members split in groups of three people, discussing how to unite.
However, according to unofficial source at the Home and Away Hotel, where the factions have been meeting since mid October, five Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM) and Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) factions have united.
The chairman of the south Sudan Darfur Task Force, Cannon Clement Janda did not commit himself over the unofficial report, but said that whatever decisions that will come out of the factions meetings, will be announced by the factions themselves.
The Darfur factions have a deadline of four weeks to get through with the unifications talks before they return to Libya for the talks between the Sudan Government and Darfur movements.
