An Antonov plane  veered off a runway at the Khartoum airport this morning and burst into flames  after crashing into a military unit ,

Five people were on board of the plane which belongs to the Juba Air Cargo.

Speaking to Miraya FM the Director of Information in the Civil Aviation, Abdel Hafiz Abdel Rahim, revealed that a technical problem in one of the plane’s engines caused the crash. 

Abdel Rahim added that the plane was taking off on its way to Juba when it veered off the runway.
