Ethiopia allocates 15 million US dollars for roads construction in south Sudan |

The Ethiopian government has approved 15 million US dollars for roads construction linking southern Sudan States with Ethiopia.
Speaking to Miraya FM, the Minister of Finance, Trade and Economic Planning in the Upper Nile State, Stephen Dheiw, said that the Ethiopian parliment had issued a resolution for the construction of three roads.
"One road will connect Ethiopia with the Upper Nile which is the road from Gambela to Joko-then Nasir-Malakal. "
He also said that "the second road will connect Ethiopia with the Jonglei State", adding "the third will be linked with Eastern Equatoria.So they divided these roads into three States of southern Sudan," said Dheiw.
Mr. Dhiew also said that the Sudanese delegation headed by the governor of Al-Gadarif State to Ethiopia, Abdullah Rahaman, discussed security concerns along the common border.
He also called upon the Sudanese refugees residing in Ethiopia to return home since peace had prevailed in the country.
