"We are going on in implementing the Agreement, and we are giving good tidings to the Sudanese People that we have over come the crisis completely," said President Bashir adding "and we are in solidarity to implement the Agreement".

He said that "because it (CPA) belongs to the Sudanese people, and it achieved peace and stability."

He said that the CPA is being taken care of untill its clear objectives are reached.

The First Vice President of the Republic, Salva Kiir Mayardit, has meanwhile said that the issue of Abyei is not yet resolved.

Mr. Kiir said that discussions are continuing between the two partners in the Government of National Unity to resolve all the outstanding issues.

"The issue of Abyei is in need of more discussions," said Kiir. He said all that the outstanding differences which solved between the SPLM and the NCP will be scheduled for implementation. "We want to ensure the Sudanese People that, we are going on in implementing the Agreement," he said. The Sudan News Agency reported that the Presidency decided to form a joint technical committee to put all decisions concerning the issues of the population census, borders and national reconciliation in a period not exceeding 31st of December.
