Al-Bashir calls Darfur movements to join the Sirte talks

President Omer Al-Bashir has reiterated his call to the Darfur Movements who are boycotting the Sirte peace talks in Libya to join the peaceful porcess as he put.
This came during speach addressing the opening session of the Arab League Conference in Khartoum.
President Al-Bashir said that the government is committed in alleviating the humanitarian work in Darfur.
"I called upon all the those who carrying up arms to join the peaceful process and participate in the negotiations which we have facilitated for its success, as such we have announced a ceaseifire," said President Bashir.
He added, "and we hope to recieve response towards this step by the other sides...".

Meanwhile, the Secretary General of the Arab League, Amru Musa, has called on the Darfur armed movements to announce an immediate ceasefire.
"I urged the factions which are not participating in the talks to speed up in joining the negotiations' table to reach a politcal settlement to the crisis in order to reduce the suffering of the Darfur people," said Musa.
He called on the international community and the donor countries to encourage efforts in persuading the Darfur movements to quikly join the Sirte talks.
"I do appreciate the position taken by the Sudanese government announcing ceasefire from one side and from here am demanding from the opposition armed movements in Darfur to take the same position," said Musa.
