osman_al-aghbash.jpgThe Sudan Amred Forces (SAF) has denied bombarding areas in West Darfur State.

The manager of the office for the spokesman of the SAF, Lt. Col. Sawarmi Khalid, said the amry did not carry out any military operations.

Lt. Col. Khalid told Miraya FM that they are committed to ceasefire.

"What they have said is rejected..." said Khalid adding "the government has just announced ceasefire".

Khalid denied any military escalations "there are no escalations and we hop that the peacetlaks will be successful".

"We assured that our duty is to respond to the attacks carried by the rebels to the areas under the control of the government including Haskanita...for example," said Khalid.
