The leader of the Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM) delegation in Juba, Ahmed Abdul Shafi, has said that the UN should take stiff actions against the Khartoum government.
He said that the government had refused to hand over the officials charged with crimes against humanity in Darfur to the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Mr. Shafi told Miraya FM that it is contradicting for the UN Security Council to impose sanctions on the Darfur movements.
He said the SLM can not negotiate with the Sudanese government if it did not hand over those who committed crimes against humanity in Darfur to the ICC, if the government did not evacuates its military from Darfur, and fully respects the previous signed protocols.
