Sudan describes an attempt of smuggling children from Chad as serious violation of international law |

The Sudanese government has described an attempt by French Organizations to smuggle more than 100 Sudanese children from the Abeche town of Chad as a serious action and a glaring violation of the International Laws protecting children.
The spokesman of the Foreign Ministry, Ali sadiq, said that the incident is under investigations.

However the Assistant to the President of the Republic, Nafi Ali Nafi, said that those involved in the smuggling of the children are treaders and those attempting to exploit the Darfur crisis.
"The government will take this matter seriously and we are expecting the government of France to take position on this issue," said Nafi.
France had denied the involvement of its President Nicolas Sarkozy in attempting to transport the children.
The Chadian President Idriss Deby said that his government will strongly punish anybody found involved in the act.
