The First Vice President of the Republic, Salva Kiir Mayardit, has said that the SPLM is fully committed to the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA).

This came during his meeting with the European diplomatic missions in Khartoum on Friday.

Mr. Kiir said that the SPLM will not revert to war again.

The Minister of Presidential Affairs in the government of south Sudan, Luka Biong, said that the meeting concentrated on finding solutions to the current crisis regarding the suspension of the SPLM activities in the government of national unity.
