Studenrs are going back to study after a 10-day closure of schools n Upper Nile State due to the eye infection.
The initiative was aimed at minimizing the spread of the infection among students.
A daily average number of fifty cases were registered at Malakal hospital when the infection broke out three weeks ago.
Our correspondent Kimy Awak met the Medical Director of Malakal hospital, Dr. Tut Gwinj, to find out if the measure that the Ministry of Education took to close schools made any difference.
Mr. Gwinji assured that the number of infection cases among the students and citizens have become less which means that the disease is fading out.
