National Congress talks of breakthrough in government crisis |

The first Vice-President Salva Kiir Mayadeit arrived in Khartoum yesterday evening and held a meeting with President Al-Bashir on the crisis between the SPLM and the National Congress Party.
In a statement to Miraya FM, the President’s press secretary, Mahjoub Fadil Badri, described the meeting as positive saying a solution to the crisis is imminent.
Meanwhile, the secretary-general of the SPLM northern sector and chairman of the groups committee managing the crisis with the National Congress, Malik Aggar, denied, in a statement to Miraya FM, the Presidential press secretary’s statement that a solution in imminent and pointed out that the meeting did not record any progess.
