Speaking to the Media, the Commissioner of Wau County Lt. Col. Anthony Charles Ngberende said the alleged arm-robber was arrested along the Wau-Bussere road by Momoyi residents who ambushed the robbers using bows and arrows.

Commissioner Ngberende also said Captain Kejit was immediately identified by civilians and soldiers in Bussere as one of the robbers along the Wau-Bussere road adding that Kejit’s companions succeeded to flee from the civilians.

When Kejit was taken to the Barracks, the SPLA Brigade III Commanding Officer, Lt. Col. Martin Mathian identified him as one of his officers who escaped investigation procedures after injuring his college.

Captian Kejit however, maintained that he was found along the Wau-Bussere Road while on his way to his native Murle area.
