The Vice President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohammed Taha, has strongly condemned the SPLM decision to suspend its participation in the Government of National Unity.
Addressing the press in Khartoum on Sunday, Mr. Taha said that the National Congress Party rejects any political blackmail.
He said that the accusations made by the SPLM against the National Congress Party regarding the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement are false.

Meanwhile The deputy speaker of the Interim National Assembly and a leading member in the SPLM, Atem Garang, has, meanwhile, warned that the movement’s members in the Assembly will boycott the new round of sessions if the political crises in the country are not resolved.
