SPLM delegation expected to meet President Al-Bashir today |

The press secretary of President Omer Al-Bashir has said that the President is expected to meet today the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) delegation.
The SPLM delegation which is being headed by the Vice President of the government of south Sudan Dr. Riak Machar is to discuss the crises between the two partners in the government of national unity.
The SPLM delegation, had earlier handed a message from the First Vice President of the Republic, Salva Kiir Mayardit to Bakri Hassen Saleh, the minister of Presidential Affairs, who was delegated by President Al Bashir.
Speaking to Miraya FM, the spokesman of the SPLM-northern sector, Deng Goj, welcomed the acceptance of the National Congress Party to discuss with the movement the crisis.
"In our point of view this is a positive step that the two partners will meet and discuss all issues seriously, honestly and clearly," said Mr. Goj.
He added, "so they will reach the right steps regarding the implementation of the CPA in full commitment between the two parties".
The President of the Government of south
Sudan , Lt General Salva Kiir Mayardit, had eralier said that the SPLM will not return to war or initiate it with the National Congress Party. Mr. Kiir commended the ruling of the SPLM Political Bureau to suspend participation in the Government of National Unity.
