Eastern Front doubts that the Sudanese government will implement peace deal |

The head of the Security Arrangement Commission for the Eastern Sudan Peace Agreement, Lt. Gen. Mohammed Abdel Qadir Nasr-din, said that the process of preparing military camps for the Eastern Front forces is moving as planned.
Nasr-din said that 1,900 soldiers from the Eastern Front are willing to join the Sudan Armed Forces and the police in the process of demobilization, disarmament, and re-integration. A leading member in the Eastern Front, Mohammed Din Sulieman, said that he doubts whether the government will implement the Eastern Sudan Peace Agreement or integrate the Eastern Front forces into the army.
