SAF denies any connection to Muhajria incident |

The
Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) denied in a statement to the
Sudan news agency (SUNA) any involvement in the attack on Muhajrya.
The Spokesperson of SAF, Brigadier Mohamed Al Agbash said the air force has no relation to the incident
He added that there were only surveillance flights over Haskinita as co-coordinated with the African Union.
Al Agbash attributed the latest incidents in the area to tribal conflicts.
The Sudan Liberation Movement-Minnawi Faction has earlier accused the Sudan Armed Forces of the killing of more than forty people and the wounding of others in an attack on Muhajrya, south
Darfur .
Exclusively Speaking to Miraya FM, the Deputy Chairman of the SLM-Manawi Faction, Dr Al Rayyah Mohmoud Juma, appealed to the international community to speed-up the deployment of the hybrid forces in
Darfur in order to protect the civilians.
The Commander of the African Union troops in
Darfur , General Martin Luther Agwai, told Reuters that the Sudan Armed Forces bombarded the area of Muhajrya south
Darfur , wounding twenty four people.
The Sudan Armed Forces were not available for immediate comment.
