The First Vice President of the Republic and the President of the government of south
Sudan Lt. Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit arrived today in Aweil town of northern
Bahr
el-Ghazal
State to inspect the conditions of the affected people by the recent floods.
Lt. Gen. Mayardit is accompanied by officials from both the government of southern
Sudan and the Government of National Unity.
