The Ministry of Transport, Road and Bridges in the Government of South Sudan dispatched a team of officials to purchase tarmac products.

Speaking to Miraya, the Minister of Transport, Roads and Bridges, David Deng revealed that his ministry has sent a team of technical officials to Khartoum to purchase tarmac for the purpose of constructing roads in Juba. 

The Minister himself left to Khartoum to witness the shipping of the tarmac product from the dock in Kosti river port .

Mr. David Deng added that construction of roads in south Sudan will begin as soon as the tarmac arrives at Juba, without stating a specific date.
