 Vibrio cholerae: The bacterium that causes cholera

At least 58 people died in Gallabat and Fashga areas of
Al-Ghadaref State from Cholera.

Speaking to Miraya FM the director general of the ministry of health in the State,  Dr. Ibn Omer Mekki, said that civilians have been infected with Cholera and gastroenteritis.

He said that the rate of the disease is very high this year in the State.

 

"We in the ministry of health assured that the cases of those inffected did not exceed 58,"  said Dr. Mekki.

 

He said the cases occured in three localities of Al-Ghadaref State and this includes East and West Galabat and Al-Fashga.
