UK warns against traveling to Khartoum |

Britain warned on Saturday against traveling to Khartoum because of increasing fears that western interests may be attacked.
Britain’s Foreign Office said on its Website that public services at the British Embassy in Khartoum would be suspended on Sunday and Monday as a precaution.
The British Embassy advised against all but essential travel to Khartoum.
Speaking to Miraya FM, the Spokesperson of the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ali Al - Saddiq referred the reasons behind the suspencion as following ; " the British Embassy has announced that it will suspend its consular section today and tomorrow, based on information provided by the Foreign Affairs Ministry, which came in reference to the late incidents, and the investigations which led to the uncovering of several weapon hideouts, this revealed that the British Embassy in addition to other western interests, were potential targets of attacks by these groups."
Al- Saddiq added, " consequently, the Ministry of Foreign Aaffairs alerted the British Embassy in order to take proper precautions, and cautiousness."
