In an exclusive interview with Miraya FM the former humanitarian coordinator of the Sudan Liberation Movement, Sulieman Jamous, said that he will leave the UN hospital in Kadigli, south Kordofan State. He said that he challenges the supervision imposed on him by the Sudanese authorities.
Jamous said he needs to leave the hospital for treatment.
"After I have been detained for 14 months in the United Nations hospital in Kadugli without any medical care now it is the same for me to be detained by the goverment or the United Nations. The entire world knows that I am still in the UN hospital. If the UN is unable to offer me medical treatment or to let me leave this area, I have no other choice but to go abroad fortreatment whether the government will arrest me or not."
