Salva Kiir reshuffles the government of Eastern Equatoria State |

The first vice President of the Republic and the President of the government of south Sudan, Lt. General Salva Kiir Mayardit has reshuffled the cabinet of Eastern Equatoria State. The reshuffling left seven law makers jobless.The reshuffling appoints a deputy Governor and minister for Local and Law Enforcement, minister of Finance Trade, and Industry, minister for Agriculture, and Animal Resources, Forestry, Cooperative and Rural Development, minister for Social Development, minister for Physical Infrastructure, minister for Health, advisor for Peace and Reconciliation and an advisor for Gender. The new appointees will take office from Monday of next week.
The new appointees are; Mr. George Echom, deputy governor and minister for Local and Law Enforcement; Mr.Tulio Odongi Ayahu minister of Finance Trade, and Industry; Ms. Betty Ogwaro, State minister for Agriculture, and Animal Resources, Forestry, Cooperative and Rural Development; Mr. Partick Lodinga, State minister for Social Development; Mr. Moris Merisa Kaunda, State minister for Physical Infrastructure; Ms. Elizabeth Ojaba Itto, State minister for Health; Mr.Ukeck Alak Ukech, State advisor for Peace and Reconciliation; and Ms. Agnes Lox Advisor for Gender.Those who survived the reshuffle are, Mr. Francis Ben Ataba, the minister of Education; Mr. Ben Loky, the minister of Information and Communication; and Mr. Marcelo Dominic, an advisor on Security Affairs.Salva Kiir had earlier reshuffled the government of south Sudan and is expected to reshuffle the SPLM representative in the Government of National Unity.
