He said that Sunday's symposium on the occasion of the commemoration will be held at the Friendship Hall, Khartoum, where papers concerning the project of the New Sudan will be presented followed by an exbition. He added, "by 3 PM there will be a documentary show about the profile of Dr. John Garang including his career". Ring told Miraya FM that mobile medical units will provide medical services free of charge to those who have been recently affected by floods in the Khartoum State. "And next Monday, in Khartoum Stadium, candles will be lit and political speeches will be aired," Ring concluded. In Juba, the commemoration of Dr. John Garang will also take place next Monday. The minister of Information and Broadcasting in the government of southern Sudan, Dr. Samson Kwaje, said that the day will also remembered all those who sacrificed their lives for their motherland. "We would like them to remember the words of Dr. John Garang, his vision for the Sudan, not just for the southern Sudan that zeal to carry out a job until finished," the minister of Information and Broadcasting in the government of southern Sudan, Dr. Samson Kwaje, spoke in Juba. He said that "and his dedication, I think that a lot of people even those who had not met Dr. Garang in person admired what he did". "And I think that should remind the people of southern Sudan that it is important for us to remember him on that day and that the 30th of July every year will always be a special day for all of us," Dr. Kwaje emphasised. Dr. Samson Kwaje said the ceremony in Juba will take place at Dr. John Garang's grave beginning at 3.00 PM, where candles will be lit at 7.09 PM. A military parade will also take place from the Buluk Peace Square to the grave of Dr. John Garang, where prayers and speeches will take place. Guests from neighboring countries and from the regions have been invited to attend the event. Dr. John Garang died on July the 30th of 2005 in a plane crash, while he was returning from a visit to Uganda in a Ugandan presidential helicopter.
