The President of the Government of Southern Sudan Lt. Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit has issued todays decrees appointing and relieving ministers of duty in his cabinet. Last week the President reshuffled the cabinet in Warrap State. Rebecca Nyandeng De Mabior was relieved of duty from the Ministry of Transport and Roads, Dr. Riak Machar from the Ministry of Housing, Lands and Public Utility, Dr. Justin Yaac Arop Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Dr. Theophililus Ochang Lotti Minister of Health, Mr. David Deng Athorbei Minister of Labour, Public Service and Human Resource Development ,and Arthur Akuein Chol, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning.

President Mayardit also relieved Justice Ambrose Riiny Thiik of the presidency of the Supreme Court of Southern Sudan and instead appointed Justice John Wol Makec as the President, and Justice Chan Reec Madut as his deputy. President Kiir appointed Dr .Luka Tombe Monaja the Minister of Cabinet Affaires, Mr.Kuol Athian Mawien, the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr Joseph Monnytuiel the Minister of Health, Mr. Martin Ohuro Okerruk, Minister of Housing Land and Public Utilities, Mr. Dominic Dim Deng, the Minister of SPLA affairs and Mrs. Awut Deng Acuil as Minister of Labour, Public Service and Human Resource Development. President Salva also appointed Rebecca Nyandeng as the Presidential Advisor on Human Rights and Gender, Dr. Justin Yaac Arop Advisor on Decentralisation, Dr.theophileous Ochang for Social Services, John koang Nyoun for Security Affairs ,and Ismail Konyi for Peace and Reconciliation.
