Ehtiopian PM launches a new operation in Somalia |

Ethiopian Prime Minister, Meles Zinawi, said his government has launched a political and military campaign in the Somali region of Ogadeen to stop what he described as the terrorist activities in the region. Zenawi said in a press briefing in Addis Ababa that this new operation will target the National Ogadeen Liberation Front. The Ethiopian leader added that the citizens of the Ogadeen region are the only ones capable of stopping terrorism, therefore a regional awareness campaign was initiated.
