Governor Nybok blames the World Bank for the slow development of Western Bahr al-Ghazal State |

The Governor of Western Bahr al-Ghazal State, Mark Nybok, has blamed the World Bank for the slow development of the State and the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement. While meeting the chairman of the Assessment and Evaluation Commission of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA), Ambassador Tom Ralcent, in Wau, the Governor said that the World Bank must honor its commitments towards Western Bahr al-Ghazal State.
Miraya FM Emmanuel Levai filed this report...while briefing the chairman of the assessment and evaluation commission of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA), Ambassador Tom Ralcent, governor Nybot cited World Bank bureaucracy as a cause for a slow development in his State. On his part Ambassador Ralcent gave a short account of his commission’s mandate and the current activities of what the commission is doing. Ambassador Ralcent is visiting Wau town to get the situation on the ground in terms of the CPA implementation and he was also briefed by the officials of the United Nations Mission in Sudan in Wau. The Ambassador who is on a two day visit to Wau is being accompanied by his personal assistant and the commission’s research assistant.
