9th Sahel & Sahara Summit begins in Libya |

The Sahel & Sahara Ministers have started to arrive to the Libyan town of Sart to attend the 9th Sahara summit with more than 20 African leaders participating. Libyan Foreign Minister, Abdallah Shulgum, said in the opening session that the latest American sanctions on Sudan can be avoided. The summit is expected to discuss the developments in Sudan, Chad, Ivory Coast & Somalia
