At least 40 people were killed; of which mostly were civilians, and dozens were wounded in Mogadishu’s sixth day of continuous intense fighting,leaving

more than 250 people dead since last Wednesday in the conflict between Somali insurgents and the Ethiopian troops.The Somali capital is now almost empty after most of its residents fled the fighting.The Head of the Somali Peace and Human Rights Organization, Sudan Ali Ahmed, called on both sides to stop fighting and demanded for an international investigation ito look nto the war crimes committed by the Somali Interim Government and the Ethiopian troops.
