The ministry of health announced malaria free treatment |

The federal Ministry of Health announced targeting two-million-and-four-hundred people for free Malaria treatment. The plan includes fifteen States in the country. The director of Malaria Department in the ministry of Health, Dr Tarig Abdel Gadir, said Malaria cases reach four million people every year. Tarig said that 35,000 people die every year from Malaria adding that the disease is on the increase in southern Sudan. Central Equatoria and Western Bahr Al-Ghazal States are the two southern Sudan States which will benefit from the malaria free treatment.Tarig added that simple malaria drugs plus re-current cases treatment like the Quinine injections, tablets, dribs and nets have been sent to those States.
