Reports said that three people were killed and 39 others wounded in a conflict between police and the Sudan Liberation Army (SLA) member in Abu Jebeha, South Kordofan State.The SLA member was escorting the local mayor of Kau when he threw a grenade after being confronted with police.The minister of finance in South Kordofan State, Abdal Rahman Kambal, said that the commissioner of Jebeha had earlier warned of people carrying grenade explosives in the town. Speaking to Miraya FM the deputy secretary general of South Kordofan State, Mohammed Abul-Gasim touri, said that the laws concerning those carrying explosives have not been implemented in the State.
