The speaker of the south Sudan Legislative Assembly James Wani Igga has strongly condemned the random shooting in Juba on the first of January, 2009.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of Physical-Rehabilitation-Reference-Centre for persons with disabilities, Igga said that such a practice might endanger lives of citizens and contribute to increased insecurity in the town. He pointed out that such a way of celebrating certain public holidays is neither a part of the CPA nor a policy of the SPLM.
