President of the Government of Southern Sudan Salva Kiir Mayardit issued a number of presidential decrees last week relieving and appointing deputy governor, state ministers, advisors and county commissioners in Central Equatoria state.

The deputy governor of Central Equatoria state Henry Danga Stefano was relieved along with state ministers for physical infrastructure, health, agriculture, gender and social welfare.

The newly appointed deputy governor is Manase Lomole Waya.

Commissioner of Juba County Albert Pitya is also relieved together with commissioners of Kajo-Keji and Lainya counties.

The newly appointed Juba commissioner is former state minister for health Dr Pius Vincent Subek.
