The Vice President Ali Osman Mohamed Taha has stated during his meeting with the UN secretary general Ban Ki-Moon that the majority politically and legally rejects the UN handing over the accusations against President al-Basher to the ICC.

In the meantime the ICC prosecutor general Luis Moreno Ocampo said he will not succumb to pressure to compel him to rescind charges against President Al Basher.

He said he will present his evidence to the ICC judges in a closed session on the first of next month.
