The Sudanese authorities have disclosed that the nineteen hostages abducted in the Egyptian desert last Friday are safe and in sound health.
The sources said the Sudanese and Egyptian authorities were monitoring the hijackers avoiding confrontation for the safety of the victims.
The Under-Secretary in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Mutrif Siddig has told the media the location of the kidnapped tourists.
He added the group is at a no-man's land between Sudan, Egypt and Libya, but said Sudanese authorities will take no action for the safety of the kidnapped.
The official news agency in Egypt reported that the kidnappers are demanding a ransom of 15 million US Dollars.
The five Germans, five Italians and one Romanian were seized on Friday along with their Egyptian guides and drivers while camping near the Sudanese border.
