The Sudanese government and the Sudan Liberation movement; Minawi faction have agreed on a Matrix to be implemented within month period yesterday.
The tow parts agreed on forming a new military joint committee, and the agreement is to be included in the constitutional review commission.
Meanwhile the senior assistant of President Mini Arko Minawi assured his commitment to implement Abuja peace accord.
Minawi said that, keeping himself away from the presidential palace was a protest against what he called a violation to the implementation of the agreement, calling on the other Darfur movements to joint the peace process. The vice president of the republic Ali Osman Taha described the deal as a step towards Darfur road map.
In the meantime the spokesman of Minawi faction Safe Aldeen Haron said that, Mini Minawi will not immediately return to the presidential palace, due to some problems is the region requiring Minawi's presence, pointing out he will return as soon as possible
The head of the joint, united nation African mission in Darfur Rodelf Adada praised the deal reached by the tow parties, hopping that the step might encourage the non- signatory movements to join the peace efforts.
On the other hand, the United Nations Humanitarian Affairs Coordinator Amira Haq expressed concern over the continuation of violence between the Sudanese Forces and the Darfur armed movements in Northern Darfur.
Miss Haq said during her recent visit to Darfur that the military operations hindered the delivery of aids for the people fled their homes following the escalation of violence in the region.
