Southern Sudan Women Organization for Peace and Development has conducted a two-day workshop in Wau town West Bahar el Ghazal State on the native education to urge women to participate in politics.

The Chairperson of the Organization Falster Baya called women in the opening session of the workshop to be prepared to participate effectively in the upcoming general elections.

On his part Judge John Gateig said in his paper that southern Sudanese politicians are still silent instead of enlightening the people on the next 2009 elections.
