The Sudan Liberation Movement-Abdul Wahid Nour Faction has rejected the Egyptian initiative to hold an international meeting on Darfur.

Egypt suggested holding a meeting on Darfur; under the Supervision of the United Nations and the African Union as soon as possible.

The Spokesperson of the movement Yahia Bolad, told Miraya Fm that the Movement rejects any mediation by a neighboring country.

The new United Nations African Union Mediator in Darfur Djibril Bassole met the Secretary General of the Arab League Amro Musa and the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmad Abu Al-Gheit in Cairo yesterday.
