Salva Kiir is SPLM's nominee to Presidency, Machar confirms |

The Vice President of the Government of southern Sudan and the SPLM Deputy Chairman Dr.Riek Machar has assured that Salva Kiir Mayardit is the SPLM's nominee to the Presidency in the next year Presidential election.
Dr. Machar added in a statement to Miraya FM that any political party that wishes to participate in the Presidential elections would nominate its Chairman, and because Salva Kiir Mayardit is the Chairman of the SPLM therefore he is the nominee of the party.
Dr. Machar's statement comes after a series of conflicting statements on the SPLM nominee to the Presidency in the upcoming elections.
