The Chinese Envoy to Sudan Liu Guijin assured that his country will exert efforts in the Security Council and the UN General Assembly to avoid the procedures of the ICC against President Omer Al-Bashir.

Guijin said during his meeting with Al-Bashir yesterday that the Chinese efforts aim at reaching a solution for the Darfur crisis through direct negotiations between the Government and all the Darfur parties.
