Al Bashir and Kiir sign dams' contracts |

Al Bashir and Salva Kiir signed in Juba several contracts for the construction of dams in south Sudan.
President of the Republic of Sudan Omer Al Bashir has signed contracts worth billions of US dollars for construction of four dams in southern Sudan.
The project will commence with feasibility study of four sites which will cost about forty million US dollars.
President Hassan Omer Al-Bashir said that it is the responsibility of all governments in the Sudan to provide Sudanese with cheap electric power and clean drinking water.
The Minister of Energy and Mining in the Government of South Sudan John Luke said that once dams' project is accomplished it will attract investors.
He said that construction of dams, which is expected to be finalized after 4 years, will cost in total estimated five billion US dollars.
The four dams to be constructed are - Fulla in Eastern Equatoria State, Juba Baraji in Central Equatoria State, Kinty in Western Equatoria State and Soy in Western Bahr El-Ghazal State.
