UNAMID evaluates President's statements, spokesperson says |

 The spokesperson the United Nations African Mission in Sudan, Nur el Din Al Mazni told Miraya FM that the leadership of the mission is still holding meetings to assess the situation after president al Bashir threatened to expel its troops from Darfur.
President Al Bashir had earlier said that he could wage a war in order to protect the sovereignty of the country. He however said he may ask the peacekeepers to leave the country if the ICC issues an arrest warrant on him.
