Al-Bashir threatens to expel the UNAMID |

 President Al-Bashir announced that he will ask the UNAMID peacekeeping troops in Darfur to leave the country should the ICC issue an arrest warrant against him as requested by the Court’s chief persecutor Mourino Ocambo last July.
The president’s statement came during an interview for Al-Arabia news television on the background of Bashir’s visit to Turkey.
