Justice and Equality Movement rejected the death sentences to some of its leaders and said that these sentences did not follow the well known judicial procedures.
Doctor Hroon Adulhameed, secretary of foreign relations for JEM told Miraya FM that the government by these sentences put more obstacles on the road of peace and reconciliation and that will invite the movement to entertain other options, as he puts it.
Terrorist special court in Khartoum issued yesterday death sentences to seven leaders of Justice and Equality Movement today including the famous leader Abdul-Aziz Osher, the half brother of the movement leader Khalil Ibrahim.
After the decision many of the defendants’ families protested in front of the court saying slogans against President AlBashir.
