French Embassy opens training facility in Wau |

The French Embassy in Sudan inaugurated today Don Bosco Vocational training Centre in Wau Town of Western Bahr el Ghazal State.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony in Wau Mr. Eric Pinon, the French Counselor for Culture and Co-operation at the French Embassy had this to say:The Centre we are pleased to inaugurate today, along with all partners concerned; both from Private and Public sectors is not just another Educational Project among others.
It aims at providing skills and knowhow in basic Technical domains.”] Don Bosco Vocational Training Centre will provide technical training in masonry, carpentry, welding, auto-mechanics, electricity, computer and printing.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Speaker of Western Bahr el Ghazal Legislative Assembly, Representatives of the French Embassy in Sudan and Head of Office of the UN Mission in Sudan's Sector II.
In Wau also, the United Nations Mission in Sudan (UNMIS) organized a wide tree planting campaign carried out by the UN employees and peacekeepers.
Fred Babi, Chief of the second sector in the mission said in an exclusive interview with Miraya FM that the aim of the campaign is to encourage citizens to preserve the environment.
