African Union delegation arrives in Khartoum |

A delegation of the African Union headed by Jean Ping, the Chairman of the African Commission and Ramadan al Amamra, the Chairman of the Peace and Security Council arrives in Khartoum today.
The delegation is expected to hold meetings with government officials on the latest developments.
In another development, the Sudanese government said the extension of the mandate of the Joint United Nations-African Union Mission in Darfur is a balanced decision.
