President Omer Al-Bashir renewed Sudan’s rejection to deal with the ICC.
This came during Al-Bashir’s speech during the opening ceremony of the Solidarity Festival against the ICC organized by the international and regional trade and worker Unions at the Friendship Hall today.
The President assured the State’s commitment to solving the Darfur crisis through the Sudan people’s initiative without foreign interference.
For his part, Ibrahim Ghandoor, head of Sudan Wokers’ Union, called for disbanding the ICC because of the Chief prosecutor’s position against President Al-Bashir.
Hassan Juma'a, General Secretary of the International Union and the Arab Labor Unions criticized the Arab League, demanding that it should not follow the US and the Western countries, as he put it.
