Ki-moon commends implementation of the CPA |

 The UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said in his periodic report on the implementation of the CPA that the Abyei roadmap which was agreed on last June is a positive progress.
He added that it may solve the chronic problem if truly implemented, and become a motive for progress in other cases, pointing out that the last months witnessed the worst breaches of cease-fire agreement between the two parties since the Malakal clashes in 2005.
The UN Secretary General said that the CPA’s two parties also deserve to be lauded for implementing another major part of the agreement which is the population census.
