Malwal warns UNAMID over ICC decision PDF Print E-mail
Saturday, 26 July 2008

The Presidential Advisor Bona Malwal said that Sudan will not be responsible for the safety of the UNAMID peacekeeping troops in Darfur should the International Criminal Court (ICC) indict President Omer Al-Bashir.

Speaking to the BBC from Ethiopian Capital Addis Ababa, Mr. Malwal said that the government is not threatening to kick the forces out of Sudan.

The Political Analyst Faisal Muhammad Salih, told Miraya FM that Malwal's statement is some sort of pressure exerted by the Sudanese Government on the international community.
