JIUs accuse SAF of lootings in Abyei |

The Commander of the Joint Integrated Units (JIUs), Major General Thomas Cirilo, accused some elements in the Brigade 31 which is affiliated to the Sudan Armed Forces of looting civilian properties in the Abyei area.
Speaking to Miraya FM, Major General Ciliro said that the existence of the Sudan Armed Forces in the Abyei area is inconvenient for the civilians in the area.
Cirilo said that the JIUs will not commence their mandate unless the other forces in the area are withdrawn.
The Sudan Armed Forces was not available for an immediate comment.
